A Call For Bread Receipe

I think I have a green tumb...much better with growing flowers then making bread.....

When my boys were little I made four loaves of bread once a week, kneeding it by hand and the bread was beautiful to look at and to taste. Now that I have a kitchen aide, I must be doing something wrong. My old magic is gone! What am I doing wrong??? Is it the flour? The yeast? The technique?

PLEASE OUT THERE...I NEED HELP...I need a fool-proof bread receipe.

I don't like the store bought bread. It tastes terrible!!!

Official Missionaries

Right out of the blue and unexpected, Roger and I were called on a local mission to the Bishop's Storehouse and Home Storage facility. It is a year-long calling. Roger loves it...I'm still trying to find out why I am there. In humility, I know the Lord will let me know how and why I am serving there. And added bonus is that I am beefing up my two year supply and learning all about cooking with the items. In fact, I am already keeping a file on what I have learned from the sweet little "more seasoned" sister missionaries.

I am being trained by some sweet missionary sisters, learning how to run the cash register, and canning supplies when I am needed in the cannery room.

We have only been there two weeks. I believe we will be serving two to three days a week there.

Maybe we are both in training for when we put our papers in for a mission ourselves. Meanwhile, we will serve where the Lord wants us to serve.

The Last of my Mexican Cruise Photos

Nice photo of the grandkids...After we left the ship we headed for a beach right outside Torrence, CA.
Sweet grandkids having fun on the beach

Ride those waves. We told them not to get too wet...ya right. Kira is saying, "Mom, I'm cold!"
Our first ever moody 13 yr. old teenager. Isn't she cute??

Kira, the dramatic one. It wouldn't surprise me at all if she were on broadway or in the movies someday....she has totally no inhabitions...good luck mom.

My great son, David...I like him alot, but I love him even more.

He is so smart. His brain is constantly thinking of new ways to do things...like his father.

Hey David, what's that in your hand? You haven't taken up drinking have you??

A family were feeding the seagulls and they were in the hundreds just swarming down.

David you blinked at the wrong time.
Nice photo...don't you think???? I'm so good.
This one is even better with Nicole and Jordon.
Does this look like a shark tale to you? Actually there were a school of dolphins feeding right off shore, going back and forth right in front of us. A local resident told us we were lucky to see them because it happens about once every 25 years.
Thanks Catalina and Mexico for a wonderful trip...UNTIL NEXT TIME..........

Mexico here we come!!!!

We went on a glass bottom boat in Catalina
As we fed the fish through a tube, the fish could be seen coming up to the glass bottom

WE'RE IN MEXICO!! Heading towards Ensenada on a bus to see the "Blow Hole"

This is a famous cliff diving place. See the Cross on the top? This is guy didn't make it!

An Aztec Indian..he made me pay for a photo of him...rip off!!!

The "Buy Trap" ...everyone came up and wanted you to buy somthing. IT was suffocating!!

Gabe and Nicole fending off the Mexican sellers

Tons of Mexican goods on both sides...with hands out.."Hey, lady come and see what I have!"

Jordon bought some Mexican items. He was a big hit back on the ship

The famous "blow hole"...Only three in the world...But it didn't blow up very big

The water or tide comes in and goes out...when the tide is in, the blow hole shoots up "big time"...but not this time.

outside and inside the ship

The infamous "Towel Art" on the ship. On every cruise in your cabin before you turn down your bed covers for the night...laying on top of the bed is the towel art created by your cabin maid. It is usually a replica of some cute animal. They even offer a class on board on how to create them.
Welcome Grandchildren to the amazing world before you!!

No one in the pool because everyone is eating or too full to play in the water

Looking from the front end to the back end

Fantacy Glass elevators for a fantacy main atrium

I loved that piano and the piano player. He was great!

Jordan with the brass anchor

Kira in the Library Room...had no time for reading!

You Gotta Love a Cruise

Yes, we had loads of fun, food, travel, warmth, meeting new people...Kids and grandkids had a fantastic time. This is one for the memory book. We've got to do it with ALL our family next time.

Our room is up there somewhere

The Liddo deck is where to be for fun and food

The Carnival Paradise
The Qween Mary was docked in the harbor right where we got on our ship. This ship is supposed to be haunted now that it is dry docked. I bet it was some ship in its day.
